If you have a diagnosis of, or want to lower your risk of, hypertension, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or metabolic syndrome, Dr. Sandra will work with you and your primary care provider to identify modifiable risk factors and develop a comprehensive prevention and management strategy to reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). You will be ordered specialized genetic testing, biomarkers of vascular inflammation and oxidative stress that correlate with cardiovascular risk as well as certain imaging studies that identify abnormal pathophysiology early which can impact your level of risk.
