Megan Shackelford

FMCP, FDN-P & Herbalist

Nutritionist/Health Coach

Megan Shackelford has dedicated the past 25 years to helping people manifest true health through supplementation, nutrition, whole food preparation and the incorporation of life affirming anti-oxidant rich foods such as green juice, medicinal mushrooms, herbs and superfoods.

Part of her  journey started as a Gourmet Whole Foods Chef in Western Massachusetts. She received her Raw Food Certification in 2012 through The Living Cuisine Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and served as a Head Chef at the Deepak Chopra Wellness and Rehab Centre in Paradise Valley , BC Canada, in 2016.

Her love of creating farm to table whole foods turned into a passion for sharing nutrition and the amazing healing benefits offered by herbs and whole foods, with others.

She became an herbalist in 2014, receiving her certification from The Gaia School of Healing and Earth Education.

Her passion for healing and nutrition brought her to The Functional Medicine Coaching Academy ( in collaboration with IFM), where she received her Health Coaching Certification in 2019.

She continued on her alternative medicine path by recently receiving certification as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner in 2024. This has widened her scope of service and allows her to work with her clients in a more in depth capacity, as she is now trained on the ordering and interpretation of functional labs.

When Megan is not coaching clients you can find her in her garden, growing nutritious local whole foods and herbs that she delights in turning into her next farm to table masterpiece. Megan has also hosted and taught healing retreats in Costa Rica (Wake Up and Live!) and currently works as a Nutritional Consultant at Lifeworks Wellness Center in Clearwater, Florida.

Lynette is a certified holistic nutrition consultant (NC), functional nutrition and lifestyle practitioner (FNLP), and ReCODE 2.0 practitioner.

She grew up with healthy eating because of her Italian heritage. Her grandfather and her father had a love of growing vegetables and herbs. Her mother and grandmother were always cooking delicious meals, and this was all passed down to her. A passion for nutrition not only originated from growing up with gratitude from what was passed down to her, but she saw the need to help people by sharing why food is medicine.

Her interest in nutrition and holistic health lead her to attend Bauman College for her holistic nutrition consulting certification. She went on to get certified in functional nutrition at the Functional Nutrition Alliance, and she is a proud member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals NANP.

After caring for her mother who had Alzheimer’s, she became passionate about becoming certified in Dr. Dale Bredesen’s ReCode 2.0 program to help people with the prevention of Alzheimer’s and the reversal of mild cognitive impairment.

Lynette believes that prevention is key to enjoying a healthy life by implementing good nutrition, good lifestyle habits, and avoiding exposure to toxins when possible. She has personally experienced positive changes in her own health from applying these healthy practices. Lynette’s passion is to educate, inspire, and motivate

others with compassion and support to take control of their health and reach their optimal health goals.
